Moray Fresh Start Registered SCIO is committed to relieving hardship and improving the conditions of life for people in Moray. Whilst our main aim is to alleviate the pressures on people who have been housed from a homelessness situation, there are other circumstances in which we also assist. For example, people who are coming home from hospital and require some household items to enable them to return home.
We can only function due to our hard working volunteers and the generous donations we receive.
The charity was launched on 25 January 2008. The project took off right away – we had our first application for a Starter Pack before the January launch! The demand for our services was overwhelming and has been constant since 2008.
In 2013 Moray Fresh Start was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. We are proud to be judged as the best in an impressive galaxy of volunteering talent.
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service 2013 is bestowed on MFS
